Clark-Shaw Students Rank Among the Top 10 in US on National French Exam

In February and March of this year, approximately 79,000 students nationwide took the National French Exam sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French.  A small group of 8th grade students who are taking French I Honors for high school credit took the exam and thirteen (13) of them made national ranking.   These rankings make our school competitive with the best schools in the nation.

Aisya Mooney ranked no. 4 in the nation.

Charles Fesler, Claudia Nguyen, and  Lequin Pettway  tied for a no. 5 ranking  in the nation.

Zachary Stutsman, Chloe Hunt, Zach Nameniuk, and Indyia Mooney  tied for  a no. 6 national ranking

Nasra Jallad ranked 7th in the nation.

Rafael Hernandez-Vega ranked 8th in the nation.

Cheyenne McRee, Sarah Studler, and Harshini Kanaan all tied for a no. 10 national ranking.

All 13  of these students, along with Harrison Poole,  ranked among the top ten in the state of Alabama.
