FIRST CHOICE

In an effort to increase the level of expectation and learning for high school students, tapping their potential and better preparing them for more education, the work force and life in the 21^st Century, the Mobile County Public School System supports the implementation of the "First Choice" diploma and supporting programs.  These programs will strengthen the curriculum for high schools and provides numerous safeguards to assist those who struggle academically.  Such measures help guide students toward a quality education and obtaining a high school diploma.

Eighth grade students will select from the diploma options during high school pre-registration .between April and the end of May.  For more information concerning these options, please view our PowerPoint.  If you have additional questions, feel free to call our Counselor, Mrs. Gatewood at 221-2106, or you may call the high school Counselor at the school your student will attend.
