Subjects Taught
7th Grade, Social Studies

Bio

I have been teaching Social Studies for many years. Civics, Geography, Canadian and American History, World Geography, English, and Literature are all subjects I have enjoyed teaching over the course of my career. My experience includes teaching at Citronelle High School, Theodore High School, Clark Middle School, and Clark-Shaw Magnet School of Mathematics and Science.

I attended Dillard University and the University of South Alabama, obtaining my certifications in the areas of Political Science and English.

Throughout my years of teaching, I have received notable recognition for my successes inside and outside of the classroom: named Who’s Who among Educators in America; featured numerous times in a variety of publications; and invited on various occasions to the White House, to name a few.

I am an avid reader who enjoys traveling, shopping, the great outdoors, and most of all, spending time with my family and close friends. My wonderful husband and I have four exceptional children – three sons and a daughter. Just as I have nurtured a love for learning in my children, I seek to cultivate the minds of each and every one of my students.

Each year, I give my best to help my students achieve excellence, to reach their maximum potential, and to know that their dreams can come true. I instruct them in ways that build skills and knowledge necessary to be effective citizens and community members. In that way, not only do my students benefit, but also the school, the community, and even the world.

 Welcome to My Classroom!
